Prima Concert with Randall Gray

ABOUT:
Celebrated for the chiaroscuro that is her distinctive blend of dramatic vocal power and fragile vulnerability, Randall Gray has been singing classical music professionally since age 12, then made her transition to the world of opera. From principles roles – “The Child” in Felix Mendolssen’s grand oratorio, “Elijah”, collaborating with the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles, “The Spirit” in LAOpera’s “Then I Stood Up,” to national anthem performances, mostly notably with the LA Kings, The Ronald McDonald House Walkathon, and the Sean Brock Foundation, to choral performances– The premiere of Meredith Monk’s “Cellular Songs” at Royce Hall, “Echoes of the Silk Road” at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, St. Mark’s Basilica in Italy, Walt Disney Concert with Eric Whitacare and Maestro Gustavo Dudamel, and alongside the LA Master Chorale, Gray has performed in the world’s most renowned venues.

Soprano, Randall Gray, makes her Zipper Concert Hall at The Colburn School debut, starring in “PRIMA – Randall Gray in Concert”. From Giuseppe Verdi, to Giacomo Puccini, to Antonín Dvořák, to spirituals, Gray will perform the classical music world’s most beloved compositions.
This concert is dedicated to extraordinary musician, writer, champion debater, academic scholar, social justice advocate, and friend to all, Noah Almeida Mack. Never Gone and Never Forgotten.
