Bella Night at Veil, The Musical

March 13, 2020 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

$35

The Bella Network is happy to support Black Hollywood Education and Resource Center (BHERC), a nonprofit, public benefit organization, designed to advocate, educate, research, develop, and preserve the history, and the future, of blacks in the film and television industries. They strive to highlight the important roles that blacks have played, and continue to play, in film and television.

The Bella Network has secured group tickets for the March 13th showing of Veils, The Musical from 8 pm until 10:30 pm at the Nate Holden Center of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, CA. If you are close to the View Park area come hang out before the musical from 6:00 pm until 7:15 pm and carpool with us to the venue. This is a great opportunity for us to wear The Bella Network t-shirts or our membership pin.

Group tickets are $35 plus Eventbrite fee.

Veils, The Musical Description:

Much has been written about the men lost in the Civil Rights and Black Lives Matter movements. Unexplored, however, are the stories of the women whose lives are affected by these tragedies—the women who wear the “Veils.” From Viola Luizzo to Sabrina Fulton (mother of Trayvon Martin), six talented women portray multiple characters in a story crafted by Arena Stage Playwright’s Arena Playwriting Fellow Steven A. Butler, Jr. and Co-writer/Director Courtney Baker-Oliver.
