Personal Branding – The Power of You

The Bella Network will share some best practices that can put you on the right path to creating a strong professional personal brand.
Think about your interaction within your corporate environment. I’m sure there may be some people that you don’t feel any connection with, and you drag your feet to help them.
On the other hand…
You might develop a strong connection with a few people. For example, perhaps you have a best friend at work, a group of lunch friends, a mentor, that person you like to team with or the leader who values your experience. You are excited to support their efforts.
If you’re in marketing or have your own business, you’ll know how important a companies brand speaks to its customers on an emotional level. This applies to your personal brand, as well. When someone feels a strong positive emotional tie with a person, that emotion creates loyalty, and inspires advocacy.
Think about your work environment.
How would you describe how many people just know about you versus how many feel loyalty towards advocating for your growth?
So, how do you know when others are valuing your brand? And how do you encourage them to advocate for you? Do most of your leadership recognize your personal brand as critical to their success? Or do they just see you as a supportive role for someone else’s brand? Or, does your personal brand create a sense of personal connection and loyalty?
